Xmas dinner

So xmas dinner was reasonably interesting and as promised before here is what I thought of it !
Reaches the Michandanis at San Ramon....super subarbian neighbourhood...where every house has freshly painted white picket fences and a pool in the backyard..with an average faily having 4 kids and 2 dgs and a huge minivan....
Inspite of being jet lagged this year was not as bad as last year...met a few interesting people there too...bic..who is a professor at Anderson..UCLA....he did his PhD from the Stanford GSB....we had interesting conversations with him and the man in red (started a telecom company....and his wife knows the people who own the Maharani restaurant on Nooreinde in Den Haag)...nehow bic had something interesting to say about Bschools..."most b schools look for leadership in their students....however from what i have seen of the last 3 admission directors..some of whom were men in their 50s..it seems interesting that none of them showed any signs of leadership....and yet they are pushing for 25 yr olds to show leadership traits...."
dinner was allright..the honey roasted ham was good..

dessert was AWESOME ! (look at pic)

and then it was all reasonably downhill (for us jetlagged adults...and not the kids)
we sang songs...no...wait..THEY sang songs...and played the "white elephant" game...bring something that you dont want in ur house..and give that gift away..and others can steal it from you (upto three times)..poo won what she wanted...placemats..
came home jet lagged....but....there were two nice pics..one when i was sitting with poo...and singing songs....and the other was gale mami..looking rather EVIL !
